Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is a term used to describe a digital device ownership model where Class 12 students use their personally-owned mobile devices at school. At Samford Valley Steiner School, we believe healthy computer ownership is possible for 18 year olds with family support. Our Class 12 students use computers at school and at home to support their school work and Senior Research Project activities.
Below is the information on the Apple “Family Funded Program” that our school offers.

Finance options are available for purchases made at an Apple Store, online or by calling the Apple Store contact centre.
Apple stores also offer workshop sessions that you can book to help you set up your student’s Macbook.
PURCHASING A WINDOWS DEVICE
Most suppliers who sell windows devices will offer an Education price. Please ask for this when purchasing. The school does not have a portal link on our website for any specific supplier of Windows devices.
