Each year the children entering Class 1 at Samford Valley Steiner School are formally welcomed to the start of their school journey with a beautiful Rose Ceremony. Our Year 12 students who are starting their final year present the Class 1 children with a rose. The ceremony is witnessed by the parents before the class teacher leads their new cohort to their first day in the classroom. This tradition is just one of the many ways that this deeply human education nourishes the children and encourages a sense of reverence and wonder.
